COCONUT GROVE ARTS FESTIVAL® SEEKS ARTISTS

The 44th edition of the Coconut Grove Arts Festival® is now inviting artists from around the country to apply for participation in this year’s event.

The Festival will be held February 17-19, 2007 and will showcase works in clay, watercolor, sculpture, painting, photography, jewelry and metalwork, fiber, mixed media, print making and drawing, glass and wood.

The Coconut Grove Arts Festival is one of the largest and most prestigious fine art exhibitions in the United States, attracting more than 150,000 people annually.

Biscayne Bay’s tropical blue waters provide the backdrop as the Festival wanders throughout the Bohemian and trendy streets of Coconut Grove, one of Miami’s most charming and historic neighborhoods.

The Festival offers visitors the opportunity to meet and talk with exhibiting artists, sample fine cuisine and enjoy live entertainment.  A Kids’ Creative Corner offers activities where children can create their own art.

In addition to displaying their works to thousands of Festival visitors, artists will receive daily complimentary breakfast and lunch.  The Festival also offers booth sitting and 24 hour security to protect the safety of artists and their collections.
